Sunday Scripture Finding Rest

I took this photo at sunset as we drove along the California coast.

The beach, the ocean, palm trees… they create the atmosphere of rest.

God’s peace creates that same atmosphere of rest no matter we are.

May the Lord replace all your burdens with His rest as you trust in Him.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened

and I will give you REST”

~Matthew 11:28

    What a blessing it is to find rest in Him – in a stressful world filled with so man unpleasant events. The rest that we find in Him is both priceless and matchless!

    We loved setting on beach, watching the sun set when we lived in San Diego. It was relaxing and renewing.

    I always love His rest and resting in Him… that is what counts so much!!

    And, I love the photo. Been there, in years past, and loved being around the palms and the beaches.
