Learning to Wait

“Wait for the LORD, be STRONG and TAKE HEART and wait for the LORD.”

Psalm 27:14

I rush ahead… He says wait.

I am impatient… He says peace be with you.

I get tired and weary… He says I am your strength.

I want to quit… He says I will help you endure.

I let fear into my heart… He replaces it with courage.

I rely on my own abilities… He says apart from Me nothing matters.

It’s our choice everyday.

We can do it our way or we can have all the blessings that God has planned for us, when we…

Wait for the LORD

I’m struck with these verbs–wait, be, take.

It’s in the waiting and the being that we find strength–and His heart. Thank you, Danise.

‘Wait’ is an action word, isn’t it? I smiled at your recent posts and pictures–the Holy Spirit has been murmuring the same words to me. Visiting from Still Saturday.
    Beautiful, Danise!

Yes, active waiting. I too want to rush ahead, not at all patient. But He is teaching me, slow, slower still….
