My Heart Christs Home

Christ’s Home / Amazon Giveaway

When our heart is Christ’s home, ministry can happen anywhere.

It seemed to be like every other morning at the gym until God revealed a divine purpose and appointment for me there.

When the hope of Christ lives in your heart the words that naturally flow from you become life-giving nourishment for others.

Friendly conversations develop into Holy Spirit inspired assignments.

As we spoke, tears welled up in her eyes exposing a soft place deep inside that is typically hidden.

Although others may not see, God always does.

He is aware of the brokenness and our personal need for Him.

Jesus is real, He is always enough and I am humbled to be a vessel of His love.

May we all live with the hope of Christ so full in our hearts that it overflows to everyone around us.

1 Peter 3:15

“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord.

Always be prepared to give an answer

to everyone who asks you

to give the reason for the hope that you have.”

fulfilled release

“Our soul is designed to need God…

He reaches far beyond the surface in our lives

to fill our need with His promises.”

  1. Wow, that is so exciting about your book! It sounds great! I appreciated this post, because I am so bad at starting coversations about spiritual things, but this is a good reminder that I shouldn’t let it be so scary. Of you have any posts with tips on that, I’d love to read them!

  2. Danise, thanks for sharing. I’m happy to know the title of your book. Waiting for the release!!! Thanks for encouraging me! I’m linking up with you at #RaRalinkup.

  3. Danise,
I have been so blessed by this as I prepare for my work day. May my heart overflow with the hope and joy of the Lord!
Thank you for being such a great example!

  4. I love this reminder that we share Christ wherever we go, if we let His love shine through us. Excited about your book. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help promote it!

  5. Ah! I love seeing what God will do when we are obedient! I am currently reading through “Holy Spirit” by John Bevere and this post just goes right along with everything he teaches in this book. The more we are in communion with God through The Holy Spirit, a- the more we see what He sees in others, and b- the easier it becomes to be bold for Christ when we are least expecting a “Jesus Moment” to come up. Your testimony is totally inspiring and a definite reminder to stay in tune with Him so that I don’t miss out on being a part of the work God is trying to do in others and in this world :) Love you, Danise!

  6. Danise, beautiful words to open with: “When our heart is Christ’s home, ministry can happen anywhere.” Thanks for that reminder and for cheering me on in my faith today! I’m so excited about your book!

  7. Congratulations on your book!! I’m sure it will be a success, because your posts are always so beautiful. I keep Christ in my heart and pray always for God to help me see people through his eyes, not mine. His eyes see deeper, just as the Holy Spirit did with you at the gym. You are a blessing Danise, and I pray you be blessed!<3

  8. I pray that I become more of a “vessel of God.” Sometimes I get so wrapped up in my own life that I forget there are others who need encouragement, love, or a listening ear.

  9. Opportunities for ministry can happen in the least expected places! We just have to be willing to see those moments and available to be used by God in those moments for amazing things to happen! Encouraging word for today, Danise! Blessings.

  10. AHHHHHH I’am so excited for you!!!! This book is going to be awesome! I look forward to reading it!

I love you Danise! Thank you for always being a positive influence in my life!<3 :)

  11. I’m thankful He sees. Oh, so thankful to be a daughter of the King who cares so much. Danise, I’m excited for your book release and will continue to pray. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date. (I might have entered my email 2x to subscribe….oops.)

  12. Your post reminds me of Jesus talking to Nicodemus about the wind…when we are led by His Spirit, He orchestrates our days, even at the gym…
He cares, He knew YOU were the one that would go there for and with her and He could love her.
    Stopping by from His Story.

  13. Hi Danise! Looks like God is using you in mighty ways! Through your book (YAY!!!), your blog, and even your gym time! I agree that God uses everything and everyone to point us to grace and being grace. Just lovely.

Keep being that beautiful clay pot that God can fill!

  14. Love the title of your book! This was a great line: “When the hope of Christ lives in your heart the words that naturally flow from you become life-giving nourishment for others.”

So so true! We need to approach every moment…no matter how small…expecting God to be up to saving souls. Blessings from “Espressos of Faith” via #DanceWithJesus!
